+ What is NEXTBAND Stream?
Nextband Stream is the same TV service you’re used to receiving from FPB, but it comes in an app, and it streams over your FPB internet connection.
+ How much does it cost?
All of the video packages for for FPB Cable are available on Nextband Stream for the same price. There is a $5/month Nextband Stream charge per household for the service.
+ Does a FPB technician need to visit my home?
No! If you already have FPB internet, a connected device (Apple TV, Amazon Firestick, etc), and a myFPB account, all you need to do is call to order the service, download the app from the store, login with your myFPB account, and get streaming!
+ What devices will it work on?
Lots of them! Nextband Stream is available for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, iOS (iPhone and iPad), and Android Phones and tablets. Roku support is coming.
+ What are concurrent streams?
Nextband Stream comes with two concurrent streams. That means you can be watching two different things at the same time on the same account. Additional streams can be purchased for $3.00/month per stream.
+ Does it have a DVR?
Yes! Even though the device you’re using to watch Nextband Stream doesn’t have a DVR built-in, Nextband Stream comes with a Cloud-based DVR. Each account comes with 25 hours (regardless of SD vs HD) of Cloud DVR. You can upgrade to 100 hours of Cloud DVR for $5.00/month or upgrade to 250 hours of Cloud DVR for $10.00/month.
+ What is start over?
Many channels have the ability to start a program over from the beginning even if you tune in with just a few minutes remaining.
+ What is look back?
Many channels have the ability to go backward in time and watch any program that aired in the previous 24 or 72 hours. Time depends on channel. Think of it as a live TV buffer running on each of these channels.
+ Do I need FPB internet?
Yes. You need FPB High-speed internet in your home to access Nextband Stream. Customers on Nextband fiber internet or FPB Cable modem High-speed internet can subscribe to Nextband Stream. Customers on a cable modem must have Premium (50 Meg) speed or higher.
